Dr Tahiyya has come over from South Africa and will join Natalia as our new senior veterinary surgeon! She qualified as a veterinary surgeon at the University Of Pretoria, South Africa in 2014. After qualifying she completed a one year internship in equine medicine and surgery at the Onderstepoort Equine Clinic, University of Pretoria. She then worked at the Onderstepoort Equine Clinic as a clinic assistant in the Equine Medicine department for two years where she managed in-patients as the primary veterinarian, taught and examined undergraduate students and supervised the daily running of the clinic. After this, Tahiyya acquired private practice experience at an equine clinic in Johannesburg for 1.5 years where she treated a range of horses from high level competition horses to happy hackers. Furthermore she completed MSc in Public Health from the University of Pretoria in 2018.

Her long term veterinary interests are in equine cardiology and critical care. Tahiyya has always had a passion for horses and started riding as a teenager. She then progressed to compete in show jumping, equitation, dressage and cross country competitions. Her current interests include playing squash and trail running. She is so excited to meet all our lovely clients.
